Chris Wood is a Project Manager at EPCC at the University of Edinburgh. He holds a PhD in marine biogeochemical modelling, and now supports researchers from a wide range of domains with development and use of research software and data - both through being embedded in research projects and through training. He is a qualified Software and Carpentries instructor.
Within EVERSE, he is predominantly supporting Work Package 1, trying to find overlaps in software development practices in industry and academia, and encouraging these communities to work more closely together.
