Daniel Garijo is co-leading Work Package 5, with strong participation in Work Packages 2 and 3.
He is based at the Ontology Engineering Group at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where he leads a team exploring how to increase Open Science good practices across scientific domains using Artificial Intelligence techniques.
Daniel’s research activities focus on e-Science and the Semantic Web, specifically on how to increase the understandability of research software and scientific workflows using their provenance (i.e., steps, outputs, inputs, intermediate results) and exposing them as machine-readable knowledge graphs.
