Laura Portell-Silva leads Work Package 2 and contributes to Work Package 3. Based at BSC, she works with the National Institute of Bioinformatics (INB) group in the Life Sciences department, managing a team of experts and driving strategic research data management initiatives. Laura also specializes in designing and delivering comprehensive training programs for internal and external audiences. She has served on the editorial boards of the Research Data Management Kit (RDMkit) and FAIRcookbook, promoting best practices in data stewardship. Beyond EVERSE, Laura has successfully managed BSC’s involvement in major European projects, including ELIXIR Converge, HealthyCloud, BY-COVID, Genomics Data Infrastructure (GDI), FAIRplus, deCYPher, ELIXIR STEERS, and PRECISEU.
