Universiteit van Amsterdam

The University of Amsterdam (UvA) is the largest university in the Netherlands and a core member of the League of European Research Universities (LERU). At the UvA, 42,000 students, 6,000 staff members and 3,000 PhD candidates study and work in a diverse range of fields, connected by a culture of curiosity. The Faculty of Science at UvA embeds a concentration of e-Science development and application groups, receiving help from its central position in Amsterdam Science Park.
